Description
It is often important to dry the biogas after the biological desulphurization for a fine desulphurization with active carbon or if the gas is transferred over a long distance to a satellite CHP unit.
For this purpose, SH SULPHTEC offers a gas drying system featuring a heat exchanger which cannot become clogged due to deposits. Over the years, such deposits typically lead to a gradual pressure loss which, at least initially, is rarely attributed to the heat exchanger.
To avoid these deposits, SH SULPHTEC uses standing heat exchangers (gas inlet from top). The condensate will be carried away to the bottom through the gas volume flow and thus there is no possibility for the substances contained in the condensate to deposit.
